There’s a remake of Carrie ahead of us! MGM and Screen Gems
have indeed hired Playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to resurrect Carrie with a
more faithful adoption of Stephen’s King novel. For those who don’t know the original
Carrie movie, it was directed by Brian De Palma and released in 1976: thestory
based on Stephen King’s first published novel, revolved around a high school
girl who, through telekinetic powers, takes revenge on peers that have mocked
her. The remake of Carrie will likely be released in March 15, 2013.
